Anthony Paul: What's New?

DNA. What more can you say? It’s genetically inside everyone. Now mix this with some of the hottest electronic music and it’s an addiction you will feel from Danny Nytefix and Anthony Paul, who make up the powerhouse duo: AUDIO DnA. No high can compete with the energy of progressive synths and down- right ridiculous electro bass drops they inject into you. Their sound and stage presence is enough to make anyone fiend for more.

Apart they have spread their music as far as Europe and pretty much covered every corner of the US. Anthony Paul, AP for short, began to DJ in early 2000, and quickly gained in popularity as a technical DJ, using three Technic 1200 turntables in his club DJ sets and adding a drum machine by 2002. Anthony Paul has spun Progressive, Electro, Funky, and Tech House across the US, and has had bookings on the legendary Isle of Ibiza, Spain. In March 2005, he was voted one of the top 5 EDM DJ's in Hampton Roads after Ninevolt had its "6th Annual Ninevolt Local Music Awards" (issue No.146; page 25). Anthony Paul also has multiple original, and remixed, song releases on various music labels, including world recognized Four Peas Recordings.

Danny Nytefix was introduced to EDM over 13 years ago in Seattle WA, with the sounds of John Digweed, Terry Mullen. He was first mentored in 2002 by artists on Sentient Audio Collective, Colorado Springs CO, and Toes in the Sand Records, Cleveland OH. He gained praise as a progressive and breaks DJ and his style developed into the sound that would later be classified as a first generation electro house. Colorado gave him residency with his crew “Config SIS” which consisted of talent from countries as far as Serbia and Croatia. His dirty Electro track selection has crushed 100’s of dance floors, including major clubs in the Midwest, such as the #1 rated club in the US “The Church”, in Denver, and in the Southwest at Las Vegas’ ICE .

Now as AUDIO DnA, expect to hear original tracks in their sets that will simply take you on a journey. Their energetic stage performance will keep you captivated. The energy is like no other.

It's been a while since a news update was posted.
New things:

The calendar has been updated with all the current gigs from now until the end of the year. Any new gigs will be added as needed.

Anthony Paul has started a side project called PROJECT AP, which is drum and bass. He has posted a mixed compilation in the music section for everyone to listen too.

Everything in the music section has been changed to stream AND download, so now you can download his mixes and hear him where ever you go.

In the Video, Press, and Review section, there is now a "VLOG" link where you can see Anthony Paul's Vlog's that he makes when he has extra time on his hands. He loves doing them because they are fun and he likes the video editting. New Vlogs will be posted every now and then.

Anthony Paul also has another EP in the works. The Ride The Fire EP was massive, but this one is going to topple that one. Be on the look out!

AP has been DJing every Friday at an after hours called Bugatti's, in Downtown Norfolk, since January of 2010. He has also been Djing every Saturday at an upscale bar called Garrison's, in Virginia Beach, since November of 2010. Both nights are going strong at the moment. It has been a hot minute since the last update. Anthony Paul expresses his gratitude to everyone who is supporting him, and his music.

As you can tell by the Beatport Player, AP has been hard at work in the studio working on new tunes. He has a few more remixes and original tracks scheduled for release, and among them is his remix of Voodoo Girl by Miss Diamond DJ.

Hey everyone! It has been a couple months since the last update. A few new things have happened!

First off...

There is a new Anthony Paul DJ Mix in the MUSIC - "House Mixes" section. It's called For The People, and includes 1 original track, and 2 remixes from Anthony Paul. Be sure to check out the secret track after the last track to hear the second remix.

A track listing will be posted very soon to go with the mix.

Second...

Sheeple "For The People" (Anthony Paul Remix) is due out this month (July, 2009) on all available download sites. It is coming out on Sweet Cherry Music. Makes sure you check it out.

Well, there is more to come so keep checking every now and then.

This track is finally finished, and it sounds freakin good! If you want to see this track in action, go to the the Press/Articles/Videos tab and click on videos. "DJ Anthony Paul at Pulse" is the video.

Sadly it can not be released quite yet (due to legality violations). It will soon be a free download, and also included in any promo packs.

Medium Musics first release will be Throwing Bombs. It's release date is approximately May 5th, 2009. This date is subject to change, but is very accurate.

Thank you everyone who came out last night to Cabo Cafe for the Euronight party, and to hear AP. It was an awesome night. Great vibe, lots of energy, and awesome people all around. Nothing like having people on the dance floor from the beginning of the night till the very last song.

Hopefully this turns into a weekly event. :)

We just got the remixes from Bleach back, and we must say, the mixes are very nice. We are especially falling in love with Shiloh's remix.

Anthony Paul & Jacksin "Throwing Bombs"

Nothing more can be said about these two artists, other than magic is created when they get together. They have, yet again, created another bangin track called Throwing Bombs. The 5000lb GBU mix and the Dubbed on the Beach mix (which will be uploaded at a later date), are both heavy hitters for both the clubs, and a chill out room, or as the Dubbed on the Beach mix states, perfect for a beachside DJ set. :)

To everyone that went to the dot com site regularly, thank you very much for your patience.

Most of the mixes from the old site will be added to this one over the course of the weekend.

The DJ mixes are working just fine. You can listen to them, or download them, or whatever you want with them.

The singles, and remixes, however, are working just fine, but they are not supposed to be downloading to your player. They are supposed to only be streamed, but some are able to be burned to a CD for some reason.

For the time being, all the single tracks have been stopped from being played since they have copyrights through Medium Music, and other labels, and are not supposed to be free downloads.

In the future, very soon actually, a few tracks will be listed as free downloads, but the ones that are up right now will not.

We are hoping to have this issue fixed by the end of the day, if not much much sooner.
